Alfred Stieglitz was an American photographer and modern art promoter who was instrumental over his fifty-year career in making photography an accepted art form. In addition to his photography, Stieglitz is known for the New York art galleries that he ran in the early part of the 20th century, where he introduced many avant-garde European artists to the U.S.
I like this photograph because the city <Vienna> is very beautiful. I like the cannal connected to the whole cities so that people must take a boat in order to go somewhere. That is so unique to me because in Korea, we don't have a city like this.
I also like this photograph of Alfred. I like the way he took this photograph. I could see snows falling down from horses. I also like that people are still using horses even though the buildings looks quite modern.
I really like this photograph because it looks like a drawing. The man on the horse cartage is focused and the other things in the backgrounds are all blury. and the snows make the photo even more blurry.

Ansel Adams is an American Photographer and environmentalist, best known for his black-and-white photographs of the American West.
I like this photo because its structure is quite interesting. A wide river is flowing in 'S' shape between the field and forest. Also the light comming from the sun behind the clouds is so beautiful
Ansel Adams was a visionary figure in nature photography and wilderness preservation. He is an environmental hero, and his trade mark was his black and white photographs.
This photo is taken by Ansel Adams' album and the name of this piece of artwork is: Colby on Glacis Ridge. I like this photo because of his trade mark black and white photo. Because Ansel used this method, the white snow, and the rest of the mountains contrasts very much, and a man standing on the white snow looks very small, and lonely. Compared to the mountain ridge, the man is very tiny so the contrasts between the man and ridge attracted my eyes.

It seems like the weather was pretty good when he took this photo, but because of the black and white method, the sky looks very gloomy. I also liked the way that clouds are arranged. Clouds are forming a whole in the sky.
I also like this photo taken by Ansel Adams, and this photo is called <Seracs of Robson Glacier>. This photograph attracted my eyes with the constrasts between the size of a man standing on the Glacier, and the huge Glaciers. It is quite funny that small man is standing at the edge of the Glacier and looking down through the spaces between two Glaciers. This photo also makes me wonder how Ansel Adams took this photo.

Diane Arbus was a phtographer who valued psychological above formal precision, private above social realities, the permanent and the prototypical above the ephemeral and the accidental, and courage above subtlety. She took photos of people only except some exceptions.
This photo is taken by Diane Arbus. I like this photo because of a little child's sadness. It is interesting that the baby is looking at the camera while she's crying. And her hair style is also interesting because on the left side, the hair is stuck behind her ear, but on the right side, it's not. Whenever I look at this photo, I feel like the tears of this girl will drop down soon, and this photograph is that lively.
This is the photo taken by Dian Arbus. They seem to be a family but the interesting thing in this photo is that the appearances. The woman is wearing very fancy, showy, and splendid. She wears big earrings, she holds a expensive bag, and a coat seem to be made out of leather. However on the right hand side, the man (husband) is in very normal clothes. So I like this photograph.

Steve McCurry: Steve McCurry is an American Photographer/ Photojournalist, and he is famous for taking a photo called "Afghan Girl" which appeared on the Frond cover page of the magazine "National Geographic".
This photo is quite depressing because of the pouring rain. The rain water has gone up to an adults' ankles height. It is very interesting that all the people walking on the streets have the same umbrellas.
This photo is also taken by Steve McCurry and I couldn't take my eyes off from this boy because this photo is the most shocking photo that I'v ever seen. because the boy is holding a gun towards his head and crying. However he is not weeping aloud but only shedding tears quietly and staring at the camera. I think that made this photo more shocking and sad. This photo also made me to think about my life again, and thanks to my parents because I felt very happy and lucky that I was born as my parents' daughter. Many children are suffering from war, severe poverty etc but to compare my life and this boy's life, I recognized that I am living in a happy life.
This photo was also very shocking because a boy in this photo, about 6 years old is holding a gun bigger than himself.I was shocked by the unknown dark shredded aspects of a world and again, I really thanks to my parents for being my parents.

This photo is taken by Jerry Uelsmann, and I really think that this photo is very interesting because the scenery of the house and a boy is inside the hands.
Jerry Uelsmann used hands as a method of presenting his thoughts quite often and this is another one of that. This time, he put a river and the boat floating freely on the river on to the hands so that it could represent his dreams or something else.

Jacques Henri Lartigue (June 13, 1894 – September 12, 1986) was a French photographer and painter, most famous for his photographs of automobile races, planes and fashionable Parisian women.
I like this photo because of the shape of the tires, and the people. Tire is slightly oval because it's running fast, but I don't know what happened to the angle of people standing around the car.
This photo is kind of interesting because I have no idea whether the man is throwing the dog or the dag is escaping from the man. Jacque captured the moment that the dog is on the air so I wander what happend to the dog after 1 second.
This woman is also in the air floated and the facial expression of this woman is very funny. She is staring at the camera while she is falling down and smiling.
Elliot Erwitt:
Elliott Erwitt (b. 26 July 1928 Paris, France) is an advertising and documentary photographer known for his black and white candid shots of ironic and absurd situations within everyday settings— a master of Henri Cartier-Bresson's "decisive moment".
I really like this photo because this photo reminds me of my childhood when my sister and I fight, my sister always cries and I was trying to stop her just because she was so loud that my mum comes and screams at me.
This photo is very interesting because of the pose of the dog in the air. The dog jumped so high, and the facial expression of this dog is so peaceful.
This photo of a dog standing on the skate board attracted my eyes because the dog is wearing clothes and he has own skateboard. And the shape of its shadow looks like a monkey.
Andy Rouse:
I really like this photo because the turtle in this photo is lovely, and colorful, and the photo is very clear and distinct. And I like that the turtle looks at the camera.
THis photo of little baby lion is also taken by Andy Rouse, and I really like this photo because first of all, I like the animals, and second of all, the lion is playing with its mother's tail. And this cute aspect contrasts with the brave, aggressive and ruthless aspects of the lion fully grown up.
I like this photo of baby tigers because they look identical except the size of their head. Left one has little bit bigger head than the right one. But both of them are so cute and I liked the heart-shaped noses of them.

I like this photo because the photo is very clear, clean, and very simple. I liked the water in the air scattering around the roses.
I really like this photo because the air in the water comming up looks very beautiful and pretty with the background of sunlight. and the upper air looks like a glacier in the south pole.
Jonathon Knowles used water as a common method and here, limes and ice are added so the beverage looks much more colder and fresher.
